about

Track 2 of Preclusion I.

lyrics

SAILOR: Moon above seems to light only my waves
My own light, a feeble underdog to the lunar face
This boat it hardly rocks, is this a calm before a storm?
Between two shores, the light behind emits a soothing norm

And the light to which I aspire resembles fire--

To the unknown, I sail with many a tote
Filled to the brim are future musings for my weary throat
“On Veins and Nothing”, “Static”, “Karmath”, many of my blackened hearts
I’m a full fledged Private registered under the pretext of “Art”

All could be gained to me
All could be lost--

They say that what really counts is not the journey’s end
But the steps before that add to your transcendence
Yet my “happy steps” consist of only Try, Try Again
Ironically the fuel to my oars are all the ones who tripped and pulled the pin

This grenade knows who you are . . .

PATCH is a progressive indie rock band based out of the Twin Cities area. The music sounds like a lovechild wrought from a tryst between Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age and darker Arcade Fire. All of the material is written and conceived by Peter Kenyon.

Currently, the band is a 4-piece, with Peter Kenyon (vocals), Jeannie Dee (guitars), Max Lewis (Bass), Zack HS (Drums).
